  • Wireless Solutions: Wireless connectivity has become essential both in the home and in the business environment. However, securing that connection often eludes most people. Here at PC-Proz, we understand security and how to lock down your wireless access.

  • Data Recovery Solutions: It never seems to fail. The moment you forget to backup, your computer crashes. In today’s world, failure is not an option. That’s why we offer data recovery. Short of physical damage, we are confident that we can retrieve most if not all of your data. This includes, but is not limited to, your photos, documents, tax files, music files, video files, email files, etc.

  • Hardware Upgrade Solutions: At some point, your computer will need an upgrade. Your cost is our cost. We don’t charge extra for parts.* If you decide that you want to install additional hardware or replace existing hardware, we will purchase it at a local store, if possible, and provide you a copy of the receipt for your records.

  • Legacy Applications: After upgrading to Windows 7, you may find out that a program that you depended on no longer works. This is where we can help. See below ...

** Legacy Applications

    Legacy applications are applications that were created for an older operating system, such as DOS, Windows 95, Windows 2000, etc. At PC-Proz we understand the need to maintain usability of these programs. Either the company that created it no longer exists, or the current company cannot afford to have the program updated. Besides, it works fine, right? Well, it used to until you upgraded your operating system to Windows Vista or Windows 7. Now it won't work! Arg!!! So do you try to beat your old computer into submission by throwing money at it or do you try to buy a new computer and install an older operating system on it? Unfortunately, the first is expensive and the latter will not work. So what do you do? Give PC-Proz a call and we will work with you to create an environment within your Windows 7 operating system that will allow your program to work again.
